Kit Westbrook

Kit Westbrook earned a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University and a Master’s Degree in School Psychology from Utah State University. After practicing as a school psychologist for two years, Kit discovered his passion for advocacy and the legal system. He attended Chapman University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor and developed a commitment to protecting the rights of individuals facing criminal charges.

Criminal Defense Experience

Since 2008, Kit has practiced criminal defense exclusively, dedicating his entire legal career to defending those accused of crimes. Over his 15+ year career, Kit has successfully defended thousands of individuals in counties throughout California, handling cases ranging from misdemeanor DUIs to serious felony charges. Prior to joining Central Coast Criminal Defense, Kit served as managing attorney for one of the largest criminal defense firms in the state, where he oversaw complex cases and mentored junior attorneys.
